One of my favorite modern illustrators is the SHAG, from Palm Springs. For fun, I recreated a scene of my friends in the his style. I referenced the character styles from his work, dressed my friends in the outfits we've actually worn to Palm Springs to create the classic look. Using a mid century color palette, clean vector lines, and SHAG-like characters, I pulled off a massive canvas print for one of my friend's homes.
