James Smith - TEEEL PAINTINGS

This is a collection of original paintings created to compliment the color palette of my music project, TEEEL. I focused on creating abstract art that is thoughtful, fresh, and open to interpretation. Although they have names, you can imagine what you want. These paintings live in our home and are heavily inspired by nature, bold colors, and music. Staying on brand with my favorite colors and palette, I worked heavily with vibrant teals, blues, purples, magentas, and pops of metallic gold to bring my work to life. I built up heavy layers using expired paints and experimented with new techniques to create different chemical reactions and textures. This is my lively expression with colors and paint.
