Most importantly, I have fun doing it. This Jim Smith has been kicking butt and winning awards in the healthcare and pharmaceutical advertising industry since the early 2000s. I'm a Creative Director by day and a professional music producer and sound designer by night.
I specialize in brand development, conceptual work, full campaign launches, and much more. I've helped bring in millions of dollars in business and contributed to multiple new business wins, as well as helped grow my assigned brands over the last 8 years at Avalere Health.

As a Creative Director, my range of style and tone is expansive. I've crafted elegant designs for weddings and five-star restaurants, developed corporate manuals and sales training materials, directed patient day-in-the-life videos and commercials, and created scores and artwork for horror movies. I draw inspiration from diverse sources, which is evident in my varied body of work.
